Harvey spent his formative in West Philadelphia, where he gained a passion for theater and music as well as photography. He studied at the historic Walnut Street Theater, as well as preformed in the prestigious Archdiocesan Choir of Philadelphia for Pope John Paul II among others. At 19 Harvey began preforming throughout the greater Philadelphia with an R and B band called Forever Friends.
In college Harvey took a photography class that forever changed his life and turned what was once a fun hobby into a lifelong passion. He loved watching the process of creating a beautiful image from start to finish. From framing a shot, to feeling out the perfect moment to click the shutter, from mixing the developers in a dark room, to watching your blank page transform into a representation of a moment in time before you eyes, Harvey fell in love with the art of photography.
